After I graduated from that program, it took like a year or two for the company to get to the point where Sam was ready for a product to be designed. While I was working on my studies there, I learned about this idea Sam had. I realized I was going to need to go to grad school in order to develop those skill sets, so I went to study industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design. I was really more interested in product and experiences, so I focused on that and learned more about the field of product design. After I graduated, I found I wasn't as interested in marketing anymore. That’s where I met (co-founder) Sam (Mackie), we went to Bucknell together. I really believed a lot in the power of the psychology of a brand. I was really interested in brands at the time. I studied marketing, psychology and graphic design.
